Commissions

I got my first illustration commission in 2018 and here is a selection of the things I have done since! Ranging from illustrations for gifts to designs for invitations and covers for brochures!

"Northumberland Young Farmers booklet cover" This commission was to create an illustration for the front cover of Northumberland YFC's programme for the 2019 Northern Area field day.

"Wedding Invite Commission"

I was commissioned to create an illustration for some wedding invites. The client wanted a farm themed illustration for the invitation. Below is how the illustration looked on the invites. I designed the front of the invites and the client made there own back with all the details on.

One of the most random things I could of been asked to do but this is Brian Johnson and Angus Young of ACDC as gnocchi characters!

This was a commission from back in 2018, was asked to illustrate something for a birthday present. They wanted something farm related for a baby, so I illustrated the child and some young farm animals and then added the name on too to just add that final bit of personality!

This is a illustration I made for a gift. I wanted to do something a bit fun using the sausage dog and I really like how this turned out.

These are both commissioned illustrations to celebrate wedding anniversary's . I like adding the little details that make commissioned illustrations so personal!

This is another commission for a wedding. This time it was for a gift, I enjoyed coming up with the composition for this one and creating something I new. Again the little details added help make this such a brilliant gift, including the little details that help make this personal. When I started getting more commissions that included people I was doubting I could do it, but now I've done a few I'm a lot more confident to be able to do more, I'm actually starting to enjoy doing commissions like this a lot more!

This one was for a birthday gift, I decided that my usual green leaf backgrounds wouldn't suit the picture this time and I didn't want to leave it with a white background. I added the leaves and a faint background colour. I really like how it turned out and will definitely use this idea again!

A family illustration commissioned as a Christmas gift, I tried to limit the colours on this image and it worked out great

A personalised print using family member names and illustrations of dogs.

With these illustrations I used a short sentence to help tell a story and give the illustration that added personal touch, can definitely see using short sentences with illustrations to create some prints.
